First Post: a typical day motoring around nova...

This will be the first of many driving related posts I'm sure. Daily occurrences that get my blood boiling to follow.

1) The right-lane-bus-stop block and the leftturn-no-turn-lane block. On a two lane road this brutal flip-flopping of lane cloggage means hell for your commute. Also hated is the asshole behind you that merges the same time you do but recklessly and almost rear-ends you.

2) The Rt. 50 / Wayne Rd. intersection during evening commute. What goes on at this intersection has gotten me so pissed in recent weeks I now try to avoid it all together if at all possible.

STOP TRYING TO TURN LEFT ONTO 50W FROM WAYNE

Reason 1:

There is no room for you in the median area. Your car's ass will droop out and
block 50 East. Even worse, on more than one occasion I've seen TWO cars try and
make the turn at the same time. The second car was literally taking up an entire
lane of 50 East. With oncoming traffic. And a 5 year old boy in the passenger seat.
Nice.

Reason 2:

You block my left turn lane on to Wayne, and my view of 50 East. I have the turn lane on the major road, you have squat. So when I finally get that 5-10 second clearing of 50 east traffic, and your asses are in my way while 50 West is gridlocked so you're going nowhere, you can see why I give you faces and toss up my arms. I COULD BE HOME DRINKING NOW

Reasons 3/4:

Main road drivers hate letting you people in, and all of this mess and overall dangerousness could be avoided if you a) drove .1 miles west and turned left at the light, or b) made a right turn and pulled a U-turn.

More to come.
